Going and catching fish with my host family

Going fishing with my host family was a really fun and memorable experience because we spent the day together by the water, enjoying the fresh air and learning how everything worked before we even started fishing. They helped me set up my line and made me feel included the whole time, and I honestly didn’t expect to catch much at first. However, the best part of the trip was when I ended up catching three really heavy catfish, and each one felt like a challenge to reel in because of how strong they were. Everyone was surprised and excited, and we were all laughing and cheering as I pulled them out of the water. Catching those catfish made me feel proud and accomplished, and spending that time fishing with my host family turned it into a great memory that I will never forget.
