Participating in a charity event as a Mayflower’s member

I was truly delighted and honored to have the opportunity to visit different locations and support people of various age groups, including both youths and the elderly. Throughout this experience, we organized meaningful activities such as games and workshops, purchased food and supplies, and thoughtfully prepared gifts to bring joy and comfort to those we served. It was heartwarming to see how small acts of kindness could make such a big impact in their lives.

Personally, I feel like I’ve become much more social and open. Interacting with so many different individuals helped me improve my communication skills and taught me the value of empathy and teamwork. This event also marked one of my first times leading the Event Team of Mayflower, which was both a challenging and rewarding experience. I learned how to coordinate tasks, manage time effectively, and support my teammates while ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Overall, this opportunity not only allowed me to grow as a leader, but also reminded me how important it is to give back to the community. I’m extremely grateful for the chance to contribute and hope to take part in even more meaningful projects in the future.
