Travelling to the mountain with my host family

This was my second time going to the mountains with my host family, but it honestly felt just as exciting as the first. As a Vietnamese exchange student, snow is still something I’m not used to, so seeing the mountains covered in white never gets old.

The highlight of the trip was the snowball fight. At first it was just for fun, but it quickly turned competitive. We were running around, laughing, slipping on the snow, and getting hit from every direction. My hands were freezing, but I couldn’t stop smiling.

Moments like this remind me how lucky I am to experience new things in a different country. Being able to share these memories with my host family makes my exchange year even more special.
