Working Out as a Student Athlete
I’ve always been into working out, but now that I’m training for track & field, my routine has completely changed. Instead of just focusing on general fitness, I have to train for speed, endurance, and explosiveness.
My workouts now include sprint drills, agility exercises, and strength training designed to make me faster and more powerful. Recovery has also become a priority—I stretch more, sleep better, and pay more attention to what I eat.
Balancing workouts with school and track practice is tough, but I’ve learned to manage my time better. Some days, I feel exhausted, but I remind myself why I’m doing this. I want to be stronger, faster, and ready to compete at my best.
