Becoming President of Math Club

November 27, 2025 Uncategorized

Math Club has been a surprisingly fun part of my school year. We spend a lot of time solving homework-style problems, practicing competition questions, and helping each other understand concepts that show up in harder classes. At first, I joined just to improve my math skills, but I ended up enjoying the teamwork and the challenge of solving problems together. Everyone in the club thinks differently, so when we go over a tough question, it’s cool to see all the different methods people come up with.

I also help organize practice test sessions, which has been a new experience for me. I’ve learned how to choose problems that match the difficulty level, plan the sessions, and manage the time so everyone stays on track. Even though it’s my first time helping run a club activity, it’s taught me leadership, responsibility, and how to communicate better with others. Math Club isn’t just about numbers — it’s about working with people who actually enjoy problem-solving. Being part of it has made me more confident and has pushed me to think deeper and approach problems in smarter ways.
