Making our Varsity Soccer Team

I was really excited to join soccer as my fourth sport in America. This was my first time playing varsity soccer, so I was a little nervous about joining a new team. Luckily, everyone was really friendly and welcomed me right away. They explained all of the drills to me, including some that I had never heard of in my life.

I am still learning the game and getting used to playing with my new teammates, but I have already enjoyed being part of the team. I’m excited to see how the season goes and hopefully improve with every practice. Our first game is against Statesville Christian, and I hope we can start the season out with a big 9-0 win.
