The Breathing Technique that I use in workouts
During track practice, I learned that breathing is an important part of running efficiently. Before joining track, I never really paid attention to my breathing and usually focused only on running faster and finishing the workout.
My captains taught me a simple breathing technique that I still use during training.I learned to follow a steady rhythm by breathing in for two steps and breathing out for two steps while running. This helped me maintain to absorb more oxygen into my body which makes my running feels way less tired.
It felt weird because I was not used to controlling my breathing while running. However, after practicing it regularly for a while, I noticed that I could manage my energy better and stay focused when workouts became more challenging.
