My First Time Taking the SAT

My First Time Taking the SAT

My first time taking the SAT was honestly not as scary as I expected. I went in feeling pretty nervous, but once the test started, everything felt more normal and manageable. The reading and writing sections were fine, and as long as I stayed focused, I could understand the passages and questions without too much trouble. Time wasn’t a big issue either, which surprised me. Math Module 1 also felt okay because the questions were pretty standard and similar to what I had practiced before, so I felt confident working through them. However, Math Module 2 was a completely different story. It was hard as hell, and the difficulty level jumped way higher than I expected. Some questions were confusing right away, and I had to spend a lot more time thinking, which made me feel stuck at times. Even though that section was tough, I’m still glad I took the SAT because it showed me what I need to improve on, especially with harder math problems. Now I know what to expect next time, and I can prepare better.
