My habit of baking cakes, cookies and brownies

I do not bake very often, so making a cake and a batch of cookies was a fun and different experience for me. At first, I was a reluctant because I was afraid I would make a mistake while measuring the ingredients or mixing everything together. Fortunately, everything turned out better than I expected.

Making the cake was enjoyable because I got to watch the batter rise in the oven and slowly turn golden. It was exciting to see all the ingredients come together into something that looked and smelled delicious. After that, I baked cookies, which were much quicker to make but just as fun. The best part was watching them spread in the oven and fill the kitchen with a warm, sweet smell.

Even though I am not someone who are really into baking, I really enjoyed the experience. It reminded me that trying something new does not have to be perfect to be rewarding. I had fun throughout the process, and it felt satisfying to enjoy the treats after putting in the effort to make them myself.
